Jewel Changi Airport has 20 food outlets with a current MUIS halal certificate. They include sit-down restaurants such as Tambuah Mas, Sanook Kitchen, Elfuego and Sampanman, as well as A&W, KFC, McDonald's and the new Lotteria. All of them are in Jewel's public area, so anyone can eat there without a boarding pass.
We checked every outlet below on the MUIS halal establishment register on 7 November 2026 and matched each one to its unit in the Jewel directory. Certificates can lapse or change, so look for the MUIS certificate on display at the counter.
Certified versus "Muslim-owned" or "no pork, no lard"
A MUIS certificate means the kitchen, its suppliers and its processes have been audited against Singapore's halal standard. A sign saying "Muslim-owned" or "no pork, no lard" is not a certificate. We have left out any outlet we could not find on the register, even if blogs call it halal.
At Jewel, for example, we found no MUIS record for Briyanis And Kebabs (#03-229) or Kantin (#05-206/207). If you plan to eat there, ask the staff.

Is the Jewel food court halal?
Not as a whole. Food Republic (#B2-238 to 240) reopened on 3 July 2026 after a revamp with new stalls. On the MUIS register we found one certified stall inside it, Yang Sayang Chicken Rice at Stall 17. Jewel's directory tags the whole food court as halal, but halal guides written before the revamp named stalls that are no longer listed. Look for the certificate at each stall. Our Jewel food guide covers the rest of the food court.
