After immigration, Changi’s cheapest proper meals are its three airside food courts: SG Hawker at T1, Cookhouse by Koufu at T2 and Singapore Food Street at T3, all on Level 3 in Departure Lounge Central and all listed by Changi as open 24 hours. T4 has no airside food court in the official directory, only restaurants and kiosks on Level 2.
Everything here needs a boarding pass. If you are seeing someone off, eat in the public area instead: our public area guide covers every terminal. Units and hours are from Changi’s dining directory, checked on 7 November 2026.

Terminal 1 transit
SG Hawker sits on Level 3 above Departure Lounge Central. Stalls include Popeyes, Subway, Nam Kee Pau, Ayam Taliwang, Encik Tan, Kaveri, carrot cake and ramen. MUIS lists Encik Tan and Cinta Hainanese Chicken Rice here as halal certified.
Level 2 has a row of kiosks around Departure Lounge Central, most of them open 24 hours:
- LiXin Teochew Fishball Noodle (#02-K17): Signature Fishball Noodle $8.90 (Eatbook, October 2026).
- A Noodle Story (#02-K19): Singapore-style ramen, $14.90.
- Crave Nasi Lemak (#02-K19A, halal certified) and Hainan Story Coffee & Toast (#02-K18).
- PAUL (#02-26, near C Gates): croissant $8.90.
For a sit-down meal, Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao (#03-54) and Kopikakis (#03-53) run 6am to 1am. T1 transit is also where the Pokémon night parade passes at 10pm on 14 November, 5 and 19 December 2026 and 30 January 2027.
Terminal 2 transit: Cookhouse by Koufu is new
The biggest 2026 change airside is Cookhouse by Koufu, which opened in T2 transit in May 2026 (SethLui gives 15 May; Eatbook reported it later in the month). Changi lists it at #03-180, Eatbook at #03-179/184; both put it on Level 3 at Departure/Transit Lounge Central. Eatbook counted 14 stalls with prices from about $5 to $20:
- Nine Fresh desserts from $4.
- Togi Korean Kitchen: bibimbap or kimchi pancake $8.50, BBQ pork belly set $13.50.
- Na Na Homemade Curry: Set A2 $13.90.
- Pondok Nasi Padang: Warung Ambeng set $26.80, meant for sharing.
- Also Shiok Chicken Rice, 333 Balestier Bak Kut Teh, Formosa Delights, Ali’s Fry & Grill, Kaveri and Kopi & Toast. MUIS lists Shiok Chicken Rice and Ali’s Fry & Grill as halal certified.

Downstairs on Level 2, the Gourmet Garden kiosks in Departure Lounge Central are the quick option. Open 24 hours: Wee Nam Kee Hainanese Chicken Rice (#02-K09, set $7.50), Chef Wei HK Cheong Fun (#02-K06, plain $3.80), Buk Chang Dong Soon Tofu (#02-K12, from $12.90) and Encik Tan (#02-K08, halal certified). Old Chang Kee, Ippudo Express and GOPIZZA run 6am to 1am. Ya Kun near F Gates (#02-803, 6am to 1am) does a kaya toast set for $6.30, and Luke’s Lobster (#02-179) is there for a splurge.

Terminal 3 transit
Singapore Food Street (#03-11) is the long-running one, on Level 3 above Departure Lounge Central, with old-street shopfront decor. Stalls include Tai Wah Pork Noodle, Tiong Bahru Chicken Rice, Rong Cheng Rou Gu Cha bak kut teh, Chef Kin HK Wanton Noodle, Husk Nasi Lemak, Thai Makan, Chef Minh Pho and Monster Western (halal certified, per MUIS). Changi’s directory now lists it as open 24 hours; a 2023 Now Boarding article gave 6am to 8pm. We follow the current directory, but expect some stalls to close overnight.

On Level 2, LeMa Dumpling (#02-28, dumplings $4.45++), Wolfgang Puck The Kitchen (#02-42) and Pret (#02-59) run 6am to 1am. Harry’s (#02-08) and Hudsons (#02-60) are open 24 hours, as is 7-Eleven on Level 3 (#03-12).
Terminal 4 transit
Changi’s directory lists no food court in T4 transit. Level 2 has Texas Chicken (#02-86, 24 hours, halal certified), Crystal Jade GO (#02-41, 6am to midnight), Heavenly Wang (#02-80, 6am to 9pm), Curry Times and Old Chang Kee (#02-81/82, 8am to 8pm) and the Tiger Den bar (#02-39, 24 hours). 7-Eleven on Level 2M (#02-240) is open 24 hours.
A note on the International Food Hall: Eatbook (August 2026) and TheSmartLocal (September 2026) still describe this T4 transit food hall, with King of Fried Rice at $8.90, but it no longer appears in Changi’s directory. We could not confirm it is open, so check the Changi App before relying on it.
Prices and tips for transfer passengers
- Prices: we found no official rule fixing airside food prices to downtown levels. The food courts are cheaper than the restaurants but dearer than the public-area staff canteens, where chicken rice was $5.50 in 2025.
- Moving between terminals: the free Skytrain links the T1, T2 and T3 transit areas. Changi says it stops from midnight to 5am since 6 October 2026, though its listed hours still say 5am to 2am. T4 is not on the Skytrain.
- Drinks: security screening is at the boarding gate, so finish drinks before you queue.
- Late flights: our 24-hour food list has every outlet Changi lists as open all night.
