Getting to Jewel and Changi Airport
Checked on 7 November 2026. On a parade day the MRT is the easy option: it drops you between T2 and T3, a short walk from Jewel and the T3 stage.
MRTChangi Airport station (CG2), under T2 and T3
5 to 10 minwalk from the MRT to Jewel over the link bridge
Last train out: 11:18pm or 12:06am11:18pm for trains towards Tuas Link, 12:06am for trains towards Pasir Ris. Late meet and greets end around 10pm, so you have time, but don't linger.
By MRT
- Take the East-West Line to Tanah Merah, or the Downtown Line to Expo, then change to the airport branch for one or two stops to Changi Airport (CG2).
- The station sits between T2 and T3. There is no MRT station at T1 or T4.
- To Jewel: go up to the Departure Hall at T2 or T3 and follow the signs to the link bridge. It's a 5 to 10 minute walk. From T2 the bridge starts near check-in row 1; from T3 it starts near row 11, by the Crowne Plaza.
- To the T3 PokéXciting! stage: stay on the T3 side. The stage is in the T3 public area.
- To T1: walk through Jewel, which joins the T1 Arrival Hall on Level 1.
| Train | First | Last |

The Thomson-East Coast Line doesn't reach the airport yet. LTA says its next stretch in the east opens on 26 December 2026, and the line to Changi is planned for the mid-2030s.
By bus
- Services 24, 27, 34, 36, 53, 110 and 858 stop at the basement bus bays of T1, T2 and T3.
- For Jewel, get off at T1 and follow the signs from T1 Level 1.
- For T4, services 24, 34, 36 and 110 stop next to Car Park 4B. Services 27, 53 and 858 stop further away, so it is easier to get off at T2 and take the free shuttle.
- Card, phone, EZ-Link and NETS FlashPay all work. Cash needs the exact fare.
- Bus 44 from Punggol Coast runs on weekday peak hours only, so it's no use on a weekend.
By taxi or ride-hail
- Drop-off is at the Departure kerbside of each terminal. For Jewel, the Jewel Level 2 drop-off point and T1 Departure both work.
- Taxi queues and ride-hail pick-up points are at the Arrival halls of T1 to T4.
- Trips that start at the airport pay an extra $8 from 5pm to midnight (any day) and $6 at other times. The usual peak surcharge also applies at weekends from 10am to 2pm and from 5pm to midnight, and the 50% midnight surcharge runs from midnight to 6am.
- Expect long ride-hail waits around 4pm, 7pm and 10pm this weekend, when a parade or show ends and everyone leaves at once. If you can, walk to the MRT instead. (This is our estimate, not official advice.)
By car
Rates, which floors to use for Jewel, and free parking with Changi Rewards are on our car park page.
Moving between Jewel and the terminals
- Walk: T1 to T2 and T3 by the link bridge on Jewel Level 3. T2 to T3 by the public link bridge on the Mezzanine level.
- Skytrain: free, links T1, T2 and T3 in both public and transit areas. It doesn't go to Jewel or T4. The official page says it stops overnight from midnight to 5am since 6 October 2026, but its listed hours still say 5am to 2am. Assume the earlier end.
- T4 shuttle (free, about 10 minutes):
- From T2 Arrival pick-up door 1: every 5 minutes, 6am to midnight.
- From T1 Departure central kerbside: every 7 to 9 minutes, 6am to midnight.
- Midnight to 6am: one loop bus (T2, T3, T1, T4) every 19 minutes.
Tips for the Pokémon weekend
- For the 3pm parade, aim to be in Jewel by 12:45pm. Wristbands are given out on site from 1pm, two hours before the show, one per person in the queue.
- Arrange a meeting point outside the crowd, such as the T3 Departure Hall or a café in a terminal.
- Changi lists live broadcast stations in the T3 Arrival Hall (near the coach stand) and the B3 Car Park 3A lobby. If the T3 show is full, you may still be able to watch it there.
- Big bags: Jewel asks you to leave bulky items at the Level 1 baggage storage before the parade.
