The Starter Pokémon Parade is a free, 30-minute parade of all 27 first partner Pokémon, plus two Pikachu, through the Forest Valley at Jewel Changi Airport. It runs at 3pm and 6pm on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026, and you can only watch it from the viewing area if you have a free wristband handed out on site.
Update, Saturday 7 November, 1pm: Jewel says all wristbands for Saturday's 3pm show have been given out. The 6pm show had no sold-out note when we checked at 1:18pm. Jewel now also says wristbands may be handed out earlier than two hours before a show "when long queues start to form due to safety reasons". For 6pm or Sunday, go early and read our wristband guide first.
What the Starter Pokémon Parade is
Every main Pokémon game starts with a choice of three partner Pokémon. Nine generations means 27 of them, and the 3 November media release says this is the first time all 27 have paraded together in Asia. The Pokémon Company runs the parade, with crowd control by Jewel, as part of the PokéXciting! tour for Pokémon's 30th anniversary.
These are the 27, by generation:
- Kanto: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle
- Johto: Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile
- Hoenn: Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip
- Sinnoh: Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup
- Unova: Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott
- Kalos: Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie
- Alola: Rowlet, Litten, Popplio
- Galar: Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble
- Paldea: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly
Two Pikachu walk with them, which is why some coverage says 29 characters. Both numbers describe the same parade.

Sunday has the same timetable. The terms allow a show to be delayed, shortened or cancelled for crowd safety, and Jewel points to Pokémon Singapore's social media for live updates. Shops, restaurants and Canopy Park are not on the closure notice. Rain Vortex times for the rest of the season are in our Rain Vortex guide.

Where it happens and where to stand
The parade takes place on Level 1 of the Forest Valley, the garden floor around the base of the Rain Vortex. Jewel has not published a route map; its photo (top of this page) shows the characters lined up on the walkway around the Rain Vortex pool, with wristband holders in front.
- Holding area: Level 1, East Canyon, near Ya Kun Kaya Toast (#01-230). It opens one hour before each show, at 2pm and 5pm. Wristband holders wait here and are let into the viewing area.
- Viewing area: inside the Forest Valley, wristband holders only. You stand; there are no seats.
- Stepping out: you can leave and come back in through East Canyon by showing your wristband, if the event crew allows it.
- Reserved spots: the terms say some areas around the Forest Valley may be kept for media, invited guests and operations.

No wristband? What you can and can't see
Without a wristband you cannot enter the viewing area, and the whole Forest Valley is closed to other visitors from 1pm to 7pm. Jewel has not said whether you can watch from the shopping levels above. Its photo shows people on the upper walkways, but that may have been a preview, and the terms ask visitors not to block corridors. Don't count on it.
What you can do instead:
- Try for the other show: the 6pm wristbands are a separate queue.
- Walk 5 to 10 minutes to T3 for meet and greets (12pm, 2pm, 8:30pm, 9:30pm) and the night show (4:30pm, 7:30pm). See our T3 weekend page.
- Pick up the free Jewel giveaways on Level 1, opposite Porsche, from 12pm to 9pm while stocks last.
- Come back after 7pm for the Forest Valley displays and the three-metre Pikachu, open 10am to 11pm daily until 31 January 2027. See the displays page.

Rules in the viewing area
- One wristband per person in the queue. Wristbands can't be swapped or passed on, and you lose yours if you are late or don't show.
- No tripods, selfie sticks, drones or flash photography.
- No eating or drinking.
- Luggage and bulky bags should go to the Level 1 baggage storage first.
- No climbing over or moving barriers. Stay in the viewing area.
- The show is filmed by official crews, so you may appear in Jewel and Pokémon material.
- Jewel says people seen queueing overnight may be asked to leave by security.
Is the parade on again later in the season?
Not this one: every official page gives 7 and 8 November only. Smaller, different parades come later, mostly in transit areas that need a boarding pass:
- Pokémon Parade (Night Edition): Terminal 1 departure transit, near the Central Piazza, at 10pm on 14 November, 5 December and 19 December 2026 and 30 January 2027. See the night parade page.
- Transit parades with Snorlax, Piplup, Pikachu and Eevee on selected days from 21 November to 20 December, listed in the media release annex.
- Weekend meet and greets in the T3 public area at 2pm and 3pm from 14 November to 20 December, no boarding pass needed.
Jewel last held a Pokémon parade in July 2019, with eight Pikachu, Eevee and Mimikyu. This is the first with every starter.
