There is no online registration for the Starter Pokémon Parade at Jewel. "Registration" means queueing at Jewel for a free wristband, one per person, which Jewel hands out on site two hours before each show: from 1pm for the 3pm parade and from 4pm for the 6pm parade on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026. Without a wristband you can't enter the viewing area in the Forest Valley.
The catch: on the first day, the wristbands for the 3pm show were all gone before the scheduled 1pm start. Here is what happened, and how to give yourself the best chance at 6pm or on Sunday.
Saturday: the 3pm wristbands ran out before 1pm
By 12:59pm on Saturday 7 November, Jewel's parade page said "Wristbands for first session has been fully redeemed", and the note was still there at 1:18pm. Jewel had also changed its wording: wristbands are issued two hours before each show "or when long queues start to form due to safety reasons". If a crowd builds early, staff can start early, and the batch can be gone by the official time.
That clashes with the parade's terms and conditions PDF, which still says the queue "will not open earlier" than two hours before each show. The web page is newer, so plan on the queue opening early.
We have not seen an official figure for how many wristbands there are per show, or a report of what time the first people arrived. Jewel says people seen queueing overnight may be asked to leave by security.
Step by step: getting a parade wristband
- Pick your show. 3pm or 6pm, on Saturday or Sunday. Each show has its own batch of wristbands and its own queue. A wristband is only good for the show it was issued for.
- Arrive well before the official time. The official start is 1pm for the 3pm show and 4pm for the 6pm show, but as Saturday showed, the queue can open and close earlier.
- Bring everyone who wants to watch. Each person in the queue can collect one wristband only. Jewel doesn't allow collecting for someone who isn't there, and wristbands can't be transferred or swapped.
- Find the queue on Level 1. Jewel hasn't published a map of the "designated queue", so ask staff on Level 1. People blocking shops or corridors can be moved on.
- Sort out food, toilets and bags first. No eating or drinking is allowed in the viewing area, and Jewel asks you to put luggage and bulky bags in the Level 1 baggage storage. Do it before you join the line.
- Be at the holding area on time. The holding area at Level 1 East Canyon, near Ya Kun Kaya Toast (#01-230), opens one hour before each show: 2pm for 3pm, 5pm for 6pm. Late arrivals lose their wristband.
- Stay inside the barriers. If you need to step out of the viewing area, you can come back in through East Canyon by showing your wristband, as directed by the crew.

Queue strategy for families and groups
- Everyone queues. A family of four needs four people in the line, children included, because wristbands are one per person in the queue.
- Split the jobs, not the queue. One adult can go for coffee or the toilet, but the person has to be back in line before the wristbands reach them.
- Expect two to three hours on your feet. Queue time, then an hour in the holding area, then a 30-minute standing show. There are no seats.
- Eat first. Ya Kun Kaya Toast next to the holding area opens at 7:30am, and Food Republic on Basement 2 opens at 8am. More options in our hour-by-hour weekend plan.
- Leave the tripod and selfie stick at home. They are banned in the viewing area, along with drones and flash.
- Have a back-up. If you miss the 3pm batch, the 6pm queue is separate. If you miss both, the Forest Valley displays reopen at 7pm, and the T3 shows below run all day.
Wristbands and queues for the T3 shows
Terminal 3 runs its own programme on 7 and 8 November at the PokéXciting! Stage in the T3 Departure Hall, Level 2, in the public area. Every show is free and first come, first served:
| Show | Times | Queue opens |
|---|---|---|
| Meet and greet: Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle | 12pm, 2pm, 8:30pm, 9:30pm | 30 minutes before (11:30am, 1:30pm, 8pm, 9pm). Wristband or pass at the queue |
| Pikachu dance show (Pokémon Kids TV) | 1pm | 12:30pm, wristbands at the queue |
| PokéXciting! Special Night Show | 4:30pm, 7:30pm | 60 minutes before (3:30pm, 6:30pm), wristbands at the queue |
When a session's passes are gone, no more are issued. For the night show, Changi has two live broadcast screens for people who miss out: in the T3 Arrival Hall near the coach stand, and in the Basement 3 lobby of Car Park 3A.

The clashes to plan around
- 3:30pm vs 4pm: the queue for the 4:30pm T3 night show opens at 3:30pm, and the 6pm parade wristbands are due from 4pm at Jewel. The two are 5 to 10 minutes apart on foot over the Level 2 link bridge, and you can't hold a place in both.
- 1:30pm vs the 3pm parade: the 2pm meet and greet queue opens just as the 3pm parade holding area fills up at 2pm.
- Easy pairing: the 6pm parade ends around 6:30pm, which is when the queue for the 7:30pm T3 night show opens. If you go for that, walk straight over.
