This is the headline event of the PokéXciting! weekend. All 27 first partner Pokémon, the starters you pick at the beginning of each generation of the games, walk the Forest Valley route in Jewel. Each show lasts about 30 minutes with no break, and there are two a day: 3pm and 6pm on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026.
How the wristbands work
- Wristbands are free and handed out on site, first come first served, from two hours before each show: 1pm for the 3pm parade and 4pm for the 6pm parade.
- Jewel's terms say the queue will not open earlier than that, and people gathering before then may be asked to move on.
- Each person in the queue gets one wristband. You can't collect for friends, swap or transfer them. If you arrive late for your show, you lose your place.
- When a show's wristbands run out, its queue closes.
Where to go
The holding area is on Level 1 at East Canyon, near Ya Kun Kaya Toast, and opens one hour before each show (2pm and 5pm). If you step out of the viewing area, you can get back in through East Canyon by showing your wristband. Jewel hasn't published exactly where the wristband queue forms. Ask Jewel staff on Level 1 when you arrive.
What's closed
On both days the Forest Valley is closed to everyone else from 1pm to 7pm, and the Rain Vortex is switched off from 1:15pm to 3:30pm and from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. The Pokémon displays inside the Forest Valley can't be visited during those hours, so see them in the morning or after 7pm.
Rules in the viewing area
- No tripods, selfie sticks, drones or flash photography.
- No eating or drinking.
- Leave luggage and bulky bags at the Level 1 baggage storage first.
- The show is filmed. Times can change, and the organisers can delay or cancel a show for crowd safety.
Where sources differ
One parenting blog gives the Forest Valley closure as 12pm to 7pm. Jewel's own page and advisory both say 1pm to 7pm, and that's what we use. Some coverage counts 29 characters (27 starters plus two Pikachu). The official pages say 27 first partner Pokémon.
Tips
- Parade wristbands: from 1pm for the 3pm show and 4pm for the 6pm show. One per person in the queue, so everyone in your group has to queue. Jewel says the queue won't open earlier, and it closes when the wristbands run out.
- Holding area: Level 1 East Canyon, near Ya Kun Kaya Toast, open from 2pm and 5pm. Re-enter through East Canyon by showing your wristband.
- Travel light: no tripods, selfie sticks, drones, flash, food or drinks. Big bags go to the Level 1 baggage storage.
